Nathan said that the Buddha said, "To live is to let go." Let go of unfulfilled dreams and expectations, "To a worm who lives in horseradish, the whole world is horseradish."

Have fun!

I'm back online!

Well I'm very happy to be back online again after breaking my little finger in a Karate class just after my last blog (yes even Feng Shui Masters can have accidents!).

I'm working on my books and getting them published in November, ready for the International Feng Shui Convention in Singapore.

Visit www.fengshuiconvention.com for more info on the convention.

I was also the speaker last year and it was fantastic to be in the room with so many knowledgeable Feng Shui enthusiasts! Professional and amateur alike.

I hope to see you there.

In the meantime visit my site at www.fengshuimaster.com.au and I'll write another blog shortly.

What is real Feng Shui?

It came to my attention this week (once again) that there's a lot of people out there practising some type of Feng Shui that is purely nonsense and can actually be harmful rather than helpful.

First was the case of a client who had a water star 2 in their loungeroom (this is a type of sha qi - negative energy). The previous consultant's solution to the problem was to place a rubbish bin in the corner, as they said it would 'absorb' or 'remove' the bad qi because it is symbolically removing the energy. Well after the client put this in they were still having problems, so I advised them that this so-called 'cure' was in fact a harmless plastic rubbish bin that did nothing but sit there...I suggested she actually spend more time in another room of the house with much better energy.

The second was a case where a consultant had advised their client to place certain 'cures' around the house based on the Annual Stars (the annual influences). However the consultant neglected to mention the effect these 'cures' would have on the existing energies of the house.

You see, there are annual influences which affect a house, but their effect depends on the existing influences; which don't change, but stay the same always, once a house is built, unless major renovations are carried out. So never apply only the annual cures without first looking at the house energies, as it can be harmful.

Tummy Ache

A client's daughter was always complaining about stomach ache, Mum didn't know what to do as her little girl is a physically well, healthy child.

When I came to check the house, I found that the child was sleeping on a mountain star 2, this is the sickness star and is particularly related to the stomach.

So by moving the bed away from this wall, we were able to stop the tummy ache.

Sickness energy

The other day I was conducting a workshop and one of the ladies had an alarming combination of stars at her front door. It was the 415 combination. I asked her if she had problems with her breast and she said yes.

So I checked to see what star she was sleeping on and it was the mountain star 5. I then asked if her hubby is also unwell and she said yes they both had health problems and she had breast cancer.

I checked where she worked in her home office and she sat on a mountain star 2! Also sickness energy.

Well, the cure was easy, put her chiming clock in the entrance, use the side door to the house on the water star 8, move the bed to the mountain star 8 and move her desk to the mountain star 6.

Fortunately for her the cures were quite easy!

Om Symbol

In my shop today a customer pointed to a brass Om and said, "Have you got number 46?" Nathan and I looked at each other bemused, wondering what they were talking about and then realised the Om looks like a number 30.

Isn't it amazing how perception changes from person to person. What we look at we perceive totally differently to the next person who looks at this totally differently to the next person, etc, etc.

Isn't it wonderful to notice the differences in people not the samenessess.

We choose our destiny

Feng Shui is amazing in that people will choose a house that they're destined to live in. What I mean is that each house has a different set of energies (qi) and we will be drawn towards a house that has a particular set of energies. Then while living in that house certain things will happen in our lives. This is our destiny at work...and each house will be different.

Take my client today, a lovely guy, I've seen him before and he's always well mannered, friendly and has a sparkle in his eyes. He's chosen a new apartment which has the best wealth qi at the front door and the best health qi at the back, that's what we call Wang Shan Wang Shui. His destiny is to be successful! BTW he also has a well placed couch to bring romance, which is great for him as he's single...
